Setting up an eBay classified ad is both cheap and extremely effective. An eBay classified ad costs just $9.95 and runs for a period of thirty days. This can work out in your favor, because you pay pennies on the dollar for highly targeted visitors.
It is not uncommon for an eBay classified ad to get 500 views, and you can put an opt in form in your auction, which means that you could easily get 200 subscribers from one auction if you could accomplish a 40% opt in rate. Just imagine the potential of eBay classified ads for list building if you had 10, 20, or even 100 ads running all with opt in forms for your offer!
