I did not really know what to expect from fresher’s week. I had heard different things about it, but one of the best things for me was the bag of goodies that I was given by the college. It had all sorts of promotional products in there and I thought they were really great. I was also surprised at the amount of eco friendly promotional products but I guess that is something which people are very aware of at the moment and it is really nice to see students being targeted by companies wanting to show how they wish to be environmentally friendly. I think that if the younger generation can be forced to care more for the environment then the planet stands a much better chance of being saved as the older generation do not seem to care and they are not going to be effected so much by any changes that are made. I think that it is very important for us to be aware of the planets needs and do our best to help it.
I love working in the construction business but there are a few things which I just do not like doing. One of them is carpet takeoff which is probably considered to be pretty simple by a lot of people. I suppose that I have made a few big mistakes in my time and that makes me nervous when I am doing it because I know how important it is to get it right.
