Hair Loss

My family is lucky in that we do not have a genetic tendency for thinning hair. My grandfather was only receding slightly at the age of 74 and my other grandfather was also about the same. This means that on my side of the family there is little genetic likelihood of my children losing their hair.

On their fathers side it is a similar story with regards to their grandfather’s side of the family. We do not know about their grandmother’s side and so she is the only unknown factor. Hopefully though, with three lots of strong hair genes they will override anything that comes from her side of the family and the boys need never worry about hair loss and receding and which hair loss product to buy in order to preserve their hair as long as possible. I am secretly pleased at this background because I am not keen on men with no hair and although I know that I will still love my husband whatever he looks like, I know that I will prefer how he looks if he keeps his hair. His is quite thin anyway and so just a small amount of thinning would make a big difference to how he looks.
