Why Using Original Hewlett-Packard Ink Matters

No two ink cartridges are created equal. Of course you can find ink jet cartridges that have been re-manufactured and that may be cheap to buy. Sometimes these refurbished cartridges seem like a really great deal, but the truth is that these cheap cartridges have a success rate of only 75%. This means that for every 100 copies made, twenty-five of them will be unusable due to poor print quality.

On the other hand, when you buy an original Hewlett-Packard refill that was made specifically for your model of printer, you end up with a 98% success rate. So if you own a HP364 printer for instance, and use an original HP364XL ink refill you can expect to toss out only two copies of 100 made. Now, think a little further ahead. If you print hundreds or even thousands or copies a week and are using a cheap, refurbished cartridge, you will be tossing out a good portion of those copies. Not very cost effective nor does it make a whole lot of sense.

The bottom line is that using original refills such as HP350XL cartridges or HP364 replacements (or for whatever model of Hewlett Packard you own) is what makes good, solid sense. You will save both time and money using original HP ink refills.
