According to Yahoo, “Yahoo! Web Rank” is a measure of how popular a web page is based on the number of links pointing at it. When you enable the Web Rank button on the Yahoo! Companion Toolbar, the URLs you visit will be sent to Yahoo! in order to get its Web Rank (from 1 to 10). The info sent about the URL is anonymous and DOES NOT include your Yahoo! ID or any personally identifiable information.

Important feature of Yahoo webrank is helps in alerting the Yahoo! Search crawler to the existence of a particular Web site or Web page, and direct a crawler to visit that Web site or Web page for inclusion in Yahoo! Search if it is not already in the Yahoo! Search index. This is an important feature and helps you in possible inclusion in the yahoo index, Yahoo crawler is the 2nd most active crawler on the web and I feel you will have a good faith that Yahoo slurp is triggered by this webrank feature.

Videos and Social Networking, many social networks allow you to create videos, just like on you tube, for example myspace took it one step further and created their own video service, ie myspacetv. You get the picture!

Blogs, are becoming the norm on social sites, and hows this for a bonus of social networks, the blogs are search engine friendly, you can create a mini post on your social network blog that leads to your main blog which contains a link to your primary website, generating even more traffic and visibility for your website.

As seasoned marketers know getting links to your website and generating traffic is crucial to your success for your online business. Using Social Networks is a way to keep in touch with your subscribers and gain new prospects.

In a Social Network people can see who you are, they know you are a real person, you put up a picture of yourself, then people can become familiar with you, and if they like you or what youre offering they may make a purchase.

New Bidding Directory

Today I am pleased to announce the launch of a new Bidding directory.  The URL and title of this directory is http://biddir.co.uk & Bidding Directory .  The Directory works the same as other bidding Directory does.  Webmasters can submit bids to get their site to the front page.
